Letter of Encouragement to Clients and General Exercisers

I’m pretty sure that everyone who exercises or currently doing a workout program (whether with me or on your own) has set for themselves an ultimate goal that they would like to accomplish, whether it be to gain muscle, get stronger, become toned, lose weight, or simply relieve stress before or after a hard days work.  Whatever your motivation might be that would fuel the aspiration to pursue those workout goals, will only come true if you (1) set small daily goals that are practical and become stepping stones to your ultimate goal, and (2) expect results to only come through a little effort.  Keep in mind that usually the things we aspire to achieve in life are those that will take some time, work and a bit of planning in order to obtain it.  That’s not to say that all workouts that you are currently doing is the one that is working for you.  Maybe what you’re currently doing is definitely not working for your and may never produce results to reach the ultimate goal, (and if that is you, I would say make sure your doing workouts that are going to produce results) but for those of you who know the exercise programs you are currently doing is the way to reaching your ultimately goal, then I would reassure you that the results await you on the other side of perseverance!  Don’t expect it to come easy,  and be willing to except the challenge with enthusiasm!  This statement is so important to all of life’s challenges, with “expect” being the key word to keep in mind here.  I’ve witness many exercisers who go into their workout programs absolutely excited and gung ho about getting results, but change their minds at the point where it takes a little push and perseverance to get through it.  So I encourage you to prepare yourself with the expectation that those moments will (must) come in your workouts in order to see results you are seeking.  Do not merely let the challenge negate your workouts and be the deciding factor in abandoning your exercise programs altogether.  Trust and believe– those moments are the epitome of the aforementioned daily goals, that become the stepping stones to reaching your ultimate exercise goals.  God Bless and happy workouts!

Again, feel free to post questions and comments that relate to your own workouts and hopefully I can provide you with helpful info to greater, more meaningful exercise and workout programs.  Also note that besides being a personal trainer, I also design workout programs and regimens for those of you who wish to work on your own.  This has been known to be successful for those of you who enjoy working alone or with a partner.
